What the scholars said about this name
The Prophet ﷺ gave Hāniʾ ibn Yazīd the kunya Abū Shurayḥ, after his eldest son Shurayḥ, in place of Abū al-Ḥakam, saying: “God is al-Ḥakam, and judgement is His.”
